Former Team Canada Soccer Player Stephen Ademolu To Be ASCIS Elementary Phys Ed Teacher Next Year

ASCIS is thrilled to announce that former Team Canada soccer player, Stephen Ademolu, will be the new physical education teacher in our elementary school this upcoming year. We are so excited to have him with us in the elementary school!

Vijay Rajaraman Places Second At WECSSAA & Third At SWOSSAA In Track And Field (100M)

Congratulations to ASCIS Upper School student, Vijay Rajaraman, for placing second at WECSSAA, and third place at SWOSSAA in Track and Field (100m). He will compete at compete in the regional OFSAA events at the University of Windsor on Friday, May 31st. Great work, Vijay!

Tristin Morin Qualifies for Swimming Provincials in 9 Events

Congratulations to ASCIS Elementary student, Tristan Morin, for qualifying for swimming provincials in 9 different events, a feat that is quite rare. At provincials, Tristan will compete in 50 Free, 100 Free, 200 Free, 400 Free, 800 Free, 100 Back, 200 Back, 200 IM, and 400 IM. Great work, Tristan!

Leslie Ye Places 1st in the Early Composer Level 7 List A Class

Congrats to Leslie Ye, who placed 1st with a mark of 90 in the Early Composer Level 7 List A class earlier this week. She also placed 3rd out of 10 in the Sonatina class. Leslie studies with Linda Jung in our Academy of Music.

ASCIS Alumna Aliyah King Named as a Finalist for the Rhodes Scholarship

ASCIS Alumna, Aliyah King, was named a national finalist for the Rhodes Scholarship, an award which brings talented individuals from across the globe to study at the University of Oxford. Aliyah was interviewed as a finalist to represent Canada for this prestigious award, which was originally established in 1903 for students with outstanding intellect, character, leadership, and commitment to service. "Ste-Cécile is a significant part of my life and development," Aliyah said. Académie Ste-Cécile is extremely proud of her accomplishment, and extends heartfelt congratulations to Aliyah!

Wayne Yao Receives $100,000 Scholarship to the University of Toronto

ASCIS High School student, Wayne Yao, has been awarded the University of Toronto International Scholar Award - Faculty of Arts & Science, a scholarship given to incoming international students based on their intellectual excellence. Congratulations, Wayne, on your outstanding achievement!
