Sofia Hernandez Officially Signs with the ASCIS Girls U19 Prep Hockey Team

It's confirmed! Sofia Hernandez has signed with our Girls U19 Prep Hockey Team for the 2024-25 season. Sofia is a member of the Mexican U18 National Team, and she participated in the 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Gangwon State, Republic of Korea. She is currently in grade 10 at ASCIS. Sofia Prokopetz Officially Signs with the ASCIS Girls U18 Prep Hockey Team

It's official! Sofia Prokopetz has signed with the Stallions for the 2024-25 season! Sofia was the leading scorer on her team last season at the U15AA level, and currently attends ASCIS as a grade 9 student. Welcome to the Stallions, Sofia!

ASCIS Hosting U18 Girls Prep Hockey Tryouts Wednesday & Thursday from 7:30am - 9:00am at Capri Pizzeria Recreation Complex

Our ASCIS hockey program is growing! If you're a U18 girls hockey player looking to make your mark on the ice, come out to our tryouts at Capri Pizzeria Recreation Complex on Wednesday, April 17 or Thursday, April 18 from 7:30am - 9:00am. In addition, schedule your school visit and tour from 9:00am - 12:00pm.

Stallions Hire Former Dartmouth Captain (NCAA)

Carrie Sekela has over 25 years of experience coaching every level of hockey player from beginner to elite. Prior to her university career, she won a national championship with U18 Team Ontario. She was a two-sport NCAA athlete at Dartmouth College, where she captained the ice hockey team to an ECAC and Ivy League Championship, and served as the starting catcher for the softball team. Living in New England after graduation, she ran elite hockey clinics and whole team practices, coached at the High School level, and obtained her Master’s in Education from Harvard University.
